Last Post

I just want to thank those of you who have read my blog and given my work a meaning. I know I have struggled with trying to keep it updated and interesting, but it was worth it, to share with you a part of my life, my talents, who I am as a person. I have decided to put away my writing and come back to reality where I belong. Writing just opens up doors to fantasy and we all know life isn't a fairytale. Endings don't always end happy...as a writer I secretly wished they did. We all struggle and sometimes life is full of unhappiness, but we try to look at all the good things. So I thought I would share one last piece of writing with you. Its called December Rain. I wrote it many years ago as I watched the world change right before my eyes. Please enjoy.

DECEMBER RAIN
Cold is all I know. It slowly invades the soul and changes the temperature of the heart, like cold December rain. I sit here hours upon hours watching the gray storm clouds creep in, settling in for the long winter. I wonder what it would be like to know what the warmth feels like, to feel the sun kiss my tender delicate skin and bath in its happiness. If only. Winter is so dark and barren without the beautiful colors of the spring and summer. It would be nice to walk barefoot along a dirt path to a beautiful open field full of flowers and tall grasses, with wisps of honeysuckle blowing on the wind. I've always dreamed of laying in the tall grass staring up at the deep blue sky and just letting the world around me fade. There wouldn't be any worries or stresses...only happiness. There wouldn't be rain and there wouldn't be cold...or darkness. Maybe I'll finally get the chance to know warmth where I'm going. Perhaps saying goodbye to the cold December rain won't be as bad as I thought...perhaps. I shan't be afraid for it is all just an adventure over the rainbow.
Thank you everyone for being apart of such a great journey for me. I have expressed many feelings through my writings and got to know many characters, all of which are very dear to my heart. To all my readers, may you always keep just a little imagination in your hearts so when reality strikes you down, you have a shelter from the storm. This is the quiet writer signing off for the last time. Thank you and goodbye.
